With diverse backgrounds across the Himalayas, our team hopes to share our native Nepali, Tibetan and Indian cooking with our community in Ann Arbor. We focus on creating fresh, homemade food that includes all your familiar favorites as well as new and exciting dishes. Meet Chef Lama
Chef Lama and his wife Louisa purchased Everest Sherpa in March of 2022, after three years developing their debut concept Momo Cha in Midtown Detroit’s food hall. With over 25 years of experience cooking Nepalese and Indian food, Chef Lama’s approach is simple and straightforward - make the comfort food that people crave. Hailing from a remote mountain village in Nepal, Chef Lama aims to bring the spirit of his native Nepalese cuisine to his own community in Michigan. Husband and wife team currently own and operate three locations, Momo Cha Detroit, Everest Sherpa and Yeti Kitchen Lansing.

Location & Hours
We’re located inside Oak Valley Centre shopping center, just a few stores down from Target. There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Visit us for lunch or dinner, or order online for pick-up!
